How annoying is this: The post has just arrived and there was a card from the post office to say that they couldn't deliver an item because there was insufficient postage on it. So off I go to collect it and pay £2.00 to get it. Only to get home to find it is from someone trying to sell me animal housing. Which I have never asked for. So I have emailed them to see if they will refund me for their mistake. There wasn't anything on the envelope when I picked it up to say who it was from and I couldn't see through the outer of it. Which the post person suggested I do first. I won't hold my breath on hearing back from them.

Hi folks! Wasn't going to post until tonight - but as concerns have been raised about my non-appearance, I will put that right immediately. Thank you! Most kindly for the concern but I have just been very busy and working into the evenings (paperwork etc.) also there was some outstanding phone calls to be made and I am inevitably late with these as I'm not good over the phone - for some reason have never felt at home on it. Just me - I suppose, I have always had a fondness for conducting business or social matters, face to face.
Although not posting I have been keeping up to date with the dogsey goings on by the simple expedient of logging on very late at night when all good dogsey citizens are fast asleep.
The soreness and stiffness that I experienced were just a result of doing too much - sometimes I tend to forget that I'm very definitely not 21 any more - and now have gone away, fortunately! So this morning I re-felted the henhouse ready for winter, can't have the girls with a dodgy roof.
Will see you all later back off out now as the sun is still shining and I can always find "summat" to do! Also the dogs would sooner be outside on a nice day, bye fer now. G.

Been a lovely afternoon, clouded over and gone cooler now, but was on the river with 2 lots of girls and the sun was out and was really warm. They're all flaked out now, took Zenith for a walk and run round on the park, did a little training session at the beginning then gave her the Off You Go and she was running from one end to the other, just glad to be out and in the sunshine, walked back nicely and she had her lunch and is another one sleeping it off. Had a bit of a phone marathon, all that sorted now and sat with a butty and brew, missed Doctors completely, but with something like that its easy to catch up even after missing a week
Glad the obliging Scout hasn't sent you off down a rabbit hole LG and you are still in there batting

Afternoon everyone.

glad to see LG is well and fighting fit.
What a cheek brenda. Fingers crossed you get the postage back.
Sounds like successful walks June.
Looks like everyone has had a reasonable day.

Walked Dillon this morning it was a tad chilly. Popped put and got the shopping and stocked Dillon up. Had a lovely long chat with Gill and had some pork and egg pie from a butcher in Downham.
Got the log burner till the heating comes on and having a cuppa.

Good afternoon Sir, you may not be 21 but I'll wager you're not as old as me Yes you're AWOL was noted and the mods are considering what disciplinary action they should take Hope the the hen house roof goes OK and don't go climbing too high 'cos statistically falls are the largest cause of us oldies ending up in hospital
