Changing from puppy to adult food

Just needing advice as to when to change our 11 month old Goldendoodle Teddy from puppy to adult food. He is currently on Wainwrights wet turkey and rice trays which is supplemented with training treats. Teddy weighs almost 29 kilos and is fit and healthy. There seems to be a lot conflicting advice on this subject with ages spanning from 12 months to 24 months for large breed dogs. Just trying to plan whether to start Teddy's transition to adult food from next month or whether to leave him on wainwrights puppy food (which says on pack it is for puppys up to 12 months).

Hi Jan I have always fed mainly fresh food where there is no 'puppy' and 'adult' food.

After a few months old (when tiny puppies don't have the teeth for large food) I don't think it matters when you change. I also think the manufactures of these foods in order to retain sales make more fuss about when to change than anyone.
