Oh just look at him there in his fancy cone!! Poor Jimmi has to make do with a plain one when he needs it

I am so glad that he is feeling so much better. Onwards and upwards, and before he knows it the cone will be taken off for the last time.

Thank you I think it's caught up with him tonight as he's out for the count I have to keep adjusting the volume on the TV as he's snoring loudly! ha

Hi everyone just wanted to keep you informed Alfie went for his check up today, and we received his test results the blood tests were fine no infection and the skin scrapes have shown no allergies to grass, dust mites etc.. but we have already noticed a change in Alfie has he's not attempted itching with or without the collar the vet said it may have been slight dermatitis on his back, we will have to keep our eye on it, his eye was slightly icky so he has put him on antibiotics for 3 more weeks we still have to bath him once a week with his melaseb shampoo and advocate him once a month but just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the advice and asking after Alfie x

Many thanks for the update - I am so pleased that the skin scrapes and blood tests did not turn up an nasties!
