When I was single my two used to sleep in the bed on cold nights and on top of it on warmer nights, but now Iv got a partner (whos not quite as doggy as me) he (Meggie has passed away since) sleeps in his own bed in the lounge, but he dosent like it! I think if I was ever single again I MIGHT re-consider it!

its a big yes for me as well. but if i had more than one dog i would prob make them sleep on the floor in my bedroom. Pepsi is great as she loves to snuggle up to me all night and keeps me warm during the winter. and may i just add, its a damn cold winter this year lol.

I say it is a matter of personal taste as long as you aren't having leadership issues.

We prefer the dog sleeps in its crate.

Ours sleep in the kitchen.

The only dog we've had who came up on the bed was a very wily Irish Setter. He would yawn and stretch against me so I had to move over. He kept this up until he filled the whole bed and the only way to shift him was to get up and drag the lump off. He never made it through a whole night in bed. Always ended up being flung out.

Our sleep in the spare bedroom in their own crates. If DH is up before me though, he will let them upstairs and onto the bed to wake me up lol.

I would like to say no but when Scratch got sick he ended up in the bed as I couldn't sleep and was constantly checking on him. Louis is happy to have his own bed and only hops in every now and then. i haven't go the heart to ban Scratch from the bed. Each to his own I say.
