Unfortunately a lot of small dog owners think their dogs are angels and it is the larger breeds that are at fault.
Tis us Devonshire folk, I didn't know what it meant either!

I think some small dog owners are so biased when its their little dogs that cause the problems - not the biggies!

Well done for telling them what for - shame the poor BC got hit upon though.
Not me. Though I have six little monsters, I fear the little dogs when I am out, not the biggies.

Two of mine will yap a bit when they see other dogs but the big dogs usually look at them like "what the hell is that" type expression. Never once had a large breed want to get at them. It's the JRT's that have a problem with my little gang. Have had a couple of scary moments with JRT's. Not their fault of course, owners let dogs off leads that can't be trusted with other dogs

Oh, yeah, I know you weren't saying "all." Just wanted to point out that, having had small dogs for a couple of years, I have been so surprised at how gentle the large breeds are! Having little ones has changed my view on big dogs so much. I used to be quite scared of them but most of them (in fact all that I have encountered) have been gentle giants. I was always terrified of SBT's (media hype I suppose) but I have found that these really like my Chis and some are even scared of them - arrrrrh bless!

Great comeback

Some people make me so mad at how ignorant they can be. Well done to you for being so responsible and putting a muzzle on your dog in the first place.

NED love it.
