Morning all. I heard on the radio this morning that doctors want another pay rise. At the moment according to what the news reader said they get £134,000 a year. Hm that would do nicely thankyou. Anyway have a good day all. Off for my usual wander, possibly in the rain as it looks a bit suspect out there.

Washing to catch up on and housework today.
The screens arrived earlier for giving Brewster some garden and keeping him contained while away, a dog cargo net coming later and Gorden is going around the corner to order another number plate with the Kia's reg on it for the caravan.
Makes me jumpy now except for the Insignia the other two cars (Chrysler and the Antara ) have ended up in the scrap yard.

Overcast with early rain but stopped so got Teazle out for her walk. Unfortunately it has put paid to doing anything in the garden so have cleaned all the kitchen cupboard fronts.

The long awaited scooter is coming back from Glebe today, or is it? It was down for delivery between 10.40 am and 12.40 pm and it is now coming up to 2.35 pm with no sign of it <sigh>. Mind you, if it does come back I shall be both surprised and delighted if they have managed to fix it, but we can live in hopes

and finally, it's just arrived complete with totally flat battery so can't test it. Time will tell tomorrow

Update on water butt saga

Everything works fine, but had a really heavy downpour and although I had cleaned the gutter the sludge etc blocked the downpipe to the butt and overflowed the gutter. Even the plastic gutter guard didn't help much.
So just ordered a gutter hedgehog and clips to hold it in the gutter. Just have to wait now for it to arrive and see if that helps

On the mis delivered DHL parcel. I have had it in my workshop and nobody has come to pick it up. Sent an email giving 10 days notice or i sell or dispose of. More or less straight away got a reply,"we will pick it up this week end".
Suprising what a time limit can do to get things moving
