Remember that gas bill I got last week?

Well, I just had a phone call from the manageress of Atlantic Gas, telling me they have now sorted all my account out where they were charging me for cubic feet instead of cubic metres for 11 months!!

Turns out THEY OWE ME £138.95, instead of me having to pay them £800 I think I'd call that a good result! Per Una here I come then!!!! So that's free gas all winter (well, sort of, I don't have to find any money for it do I!) plus I get a big cheque! Perfect!

Result! At least they've sorted it out quickly for you.

Hope the M&S shop staff are friendly and efficient when you visit or you'll be starting a new thread!!

Thanks Benzmum and Lise, just goes to show, you really have to check everything out - and twice! If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't, that's my new motto!!!

More than relieved Becky, can you imagine, if I hadn't bothered to investigate I would have written out a cheque for £800 quid without even thinking about it, but even though we've doubled the size of the house, even though I've had the heating on all winter because of mum, it just didn't feel right! Now, I'm actually £938.95 better off if you look at it the other way the £800 I would have lost, plus I've now got £138.95 on top! Oh I feel a really big shop coming on, maybe another trip to Dunelms for some new cushions and curtains
