Keeping Flies Out!!!!!!!

I hate flies coming into the house, buzzing around and contaminating the place Any ideas on decent screens to keep them out? I have seen some 'cheaper' ones at the local garden centre but I do not know if they would be very effective

My mom uses the one that you put over the door, the ones that have long plastic strips on, she swears by them, I would love one but I could see the cats chasing them when the breeze blew them about

I`ve just bought a beaded curtain. It works well, but I had to cut a dog-sized bit off the bottom because all the dogs were lined up outside, not wanting to go through it.
I could have tempted them through but it got caught in the dog flap too so the scissors came out.
So we`re fine till the flies learn to dance the limbo!

We've got a bamboo-beaded one (had one last year too) and Dennis just loves running through it so fast that it hits the ceiling with a bang!!

I noticed this fly screen the other day and thought about getting it but can't tell what it is made of. I used to have a beaded one but it only covered three quarters of the door frame.

I got mine in the Factiry Shop for £10. I could have got a cheaper one but it was pink and I don`t do pink.

I had a bamboo one last year and with Jack keep running through it, it soon came to pieces, and I ended up with bits all over the floor I know have a plastic strip one and it seems to work fine, I only get the odd fly or bee in once in a while, but nothing compared to what we used to have
