Can Huskys Eat Fish??

Question in the title really....our cat has tuna and the like and whenever its opened our new little man goes absolutely mad and if you put the tin near him its as if its somethin tastier than a joint of beef!!!

dont worry im not plannin on feeding him on cat food .....i just wondered if anyone else on here has a husky/malamute sort tthat likes fish etc?

my mallys love fish- sardines, mackeral, frozen white fish, pilchards-- pretty much anything- a friend of mine feeds hers salmon and bass!

I have yet to meet a dog who doesn't like fish
Mo goes mad as soon as I open a tin of tuna

oh well thats nice 2 know! none of my dogs before this lil one have liked it to the point of going loony for it!!!

All dogs can eat fish. I don't think there is any food that is not acceptable to certain breeds. Dogs are dogs aren't they?

Or am i missing something here?

Kismet and selkie adore fish and when Selkie was young and refused to eat anything else, I was able to coax her to eat frozen coley and tuna fish. Maybe there's something deep in the genes... Maybe all dogs love fish

Most dogs that I have ever come across like fish - and why wouldn't they? As for Huskies .... have you considered their uses and origins .... what do you reckon was their staple diet ?

Same here. My two love fish. Any sort of fish! It's good for them.

i wouldnt give a cat tuna, espically in Brine as its full of salt, my cat has it in oil though!

my dog used to eat tuna alot x!
