i agree-but to be fair we do not know the circumstances..the dog may be a good example of the breed? health tested? be good if you could let us know the reasons behind you thinking of breeding

My pedigree staff comes from a good family line and i want to carry that on. She has been tested and she is in good health. She is a fine example of this breed. I agree that recue centres are full of unwanted dogs and this is really sad, but this is due to the people out there that dont care about there animals and i am not one of them. When my bitch has her puppies they will only be placed in homes that i know they will stay in.

...denying a Staffie the chance of a secure, loving home. If you have people wanting Staffies, you could direct them to the may rescue centres throughout the UK that are bursting at the seems with Staffies. It seems crazy to breed more Staffies just now, IMO.

Its sad but people want puppies, you should always know where your dog has come from and how it has been treated. Why should her blood line not carry on that would not be fair on her family.

The dogs family? They're dogs, they know nothing about it! It won't make one bit of difference to them.

There are so many lovely Staffies in rescue and breeding more is insane, IMO. There are too many dogs than there are homes for, that's what's sad.

As I've said, if folk tell you that they want Staffies, I'd direct them to the nearest rescue centre. JMO, of course.
