I think you mean 1987, I know as that's where I had the misfortune to see them.
'86 was the first year I went ( I was 14) and actually had a good line-up.
I really can't stand that kind of hair-rock( and I don't care if they've all got shorter hair now) JBJ is fugly and really gets on my wick and their songs have been pants since Slippery When Wet.

Sorry if I've upset anyone but they're just not my bag, sorry. They're just bland, bland, bland.

I think that's why I do tend to be very critical, I'm a musician myself. I'm probably just as self critical too, I think it goes with the territory. Musicians can tend to have difficulty just enjoying a piece of music for what it is, we can't help forensically disecting it, taking it apart to find out what's inside, we can tend to be critical ( bitchy).

I tend to have bands that I've liked for a while and personal flavour of the month bands, at the moment it's Fallout Boy, next week......who knows.

I don't really like any of the bands I liked in my teens anymore and certainly wouldn't pay money to see them live, my musical taste is always evolving.
Not that I'm fickle or anything.

Enjoy your gig Murphydog

My opinion isn't worth squat anyway
