Highland Foals!

So, since I last posted about my surprise discovery, we've had all our foals born!! We've got 3 fillys & 1 colt, thank goodness, we much prefer fillies!!

Anyway, here are a couple of pics I took today!

Hettie & her Colt Foal! Hets is a colt-making machine, out of 6 foals only one has been a girl!!
We want to call this little boy Wallace!!

He's a shy little thing, this is the closest he's ever got to me of his own accord!



Grizel & her Filly foal! She is quite a friendly little thing, had lovely cuddles with her in the field this afternoon!
We want to call her Olive!

Pearl & her Filly foal, not the best picture I'm afraid, this is Pearls first foal and she is still very protective of her!

Here's my other thread with a picture of our first foal, although she is much much bigger than this!!

We're going to suggest the names to the boss, but there's no guarantee's that she'll pick them

We're gutted that they are all the same colour this year! Although they are all different shades now! We think they will probably all go grey eventually!

Don't be fooled by the weather, it had been miserable all day, blowing a gale! I just got lucky!!

ah .............i was gonna ask if they all had the same sire because of their colouring???

We've got 2 different stallions, so Grizel & Pearls foals are by Bannock & Hettie & Marinas foals are by Harris!

Both the stallions are grey!
