How much for a pullet

I was in a big Dobbies yesterday, and noticed they are now selling pullets, Black Rocks, an easy enough breed to find, they were asking the princely sum of......£30 each !!
I think the most I've paid was £15 and even then i thought it was a bit steep, and that was for a Dorking.

We get our pullets for around £15 each too, depending on the breed. Dobbies fish are really expensive too I noticed.

That IS steep. They are cashing in on the middle aged, middle class market popping into the garden centre for plants for their surburban garden, and a coffee and cake

Definitely very expensive. I would say £15 for the hybrids and £30 for pure breeds.
