The nursery run

For the past two months the only road (which is mainly single track) in and out of our part of the Lammermuir Hills has been closed for roadworks (completely replacing the road basically), so most people have had to take a long diversion.

Not us When you have a 4x4 you can take a shortcut

Awesome countryside
What a cutie your little lad is, he'll break some hearts when he gets older.

I'm ashamed to say I have never even been to Scotland. hopefully will be visiting next year. We are intending to drive around the coast roads.
Thanks for sharing ..... I only ever see beautiful 'sunny' photos, I thought Scotland was meant to be wetter than the south

Nothing to be ashamed about - but I am sure once you have been once you will want to return again and again

We actually get plenty of dry weather here in the East, it is the West Coast that has the most dramatic scenery but is also often plagued by lots and lots of rain

Super shots - certainly the best route.

Haanah will be starting High School after the summer so she'll be getting the school herself.
