What's your talent?

After seing Miss'E's lovely painting & Ben McFuzzy's mini me's just wondered what other talents are out there? and why/how did you get into what you do?
I do dressmaking (well I try!) taught by my mum who was a seamstress in the 60's & just continued as a hobby. I've made all sorts from curtains to boat covers to removable sleeping bag feet (don't ask)
My fave thing to make which I taught myself from a book & help from a sewing forum is Victorian style corsets. I made these for myself & have sold a few since (daughter modelling the black one)

Wow, very good. I love modelling/sculpture but haven't done any for ages. Am seriously thinking of taking it up again as I need something to do with my hands lol!

Me? nothing that involves paint,glue, scissors or brushes, pretty awful at stuff like that.
I do like to write, now that would be difficult to post on here.

I do a lot of baking and cooking...

I also grow lots of my own veg....

I can also make cosmetics - bath bombs, soap, body butter, salves etc

love those, they are so classy, do you sell them online,
if I hit my target weight, it would be nice to treat myself x

As to talent, not sure I have much of that...

I do them made to measure - not brave enough to sell online! though I did one for my mum in Liverpool after she sent me her measurements.
You can lose up to 2 inches when tight laced - but you can't move lol! They are good for keeping back straight though.


I love the idea of making cosmetics - sounds interesting!

Can't draw, can't sing, can't sew, but I can talk the hind legs of a donkey if that's classed as talent???!! Good at cooking, good driver, and I do shorthand (Pitman's) which I would class as a talent I think, it was very hard to learn anyways!

Used to do a lot of ceramics but haven't done it in quite sometime now.

I'm a singer. Used to do it semi-pro. Been in four bands and even on Opportunity Knocks in the seventies. We would have won, too, if our drummer (a gorgeous girl) had slept with Hughie Green........
