i think its good u get them doing chores. And besides u are giving them pocket money for it! They shudnt get money for doing nothing, parents dont HAVE to give money to their kids.

my mum never made me do anything except wash my own dish after tea
She was a stay at home mum and housework was her life- if you left your cup for more than a millisecond it was gone and washe d

now Im paying the price cos Im a totally disorganised mum and one bad bad cook

my kids do jobs
ben has to feed the dogs morning and evening
and danni-leigh has to feed the chickens everyday
they also both have to keep their bedrooms tidy
and bring their washing down every morning
sam on the other hand who is 19 is not very good at housework so i,ve been trying to show her how to be a good housewife

mine do,both of them maybe not set chores but what i ask them to do at the time,put the drying in the dryer,get more bread out etc.
my teenager might moan but he does it.
we give them spends like you but in the real world you have to earn it so why not at home,nothing is free if life the sooner they understand that the better

Mine help me and they are 4 and 5 years old.

Okay it's only like getting the washing down from their bedrooms, loading/unloading the washing machine or dusting and they love it. They even ask to help

I never made lucy do anything except wash up, now shes nearly 18 and wont even do that.iwish i had trained her earlier, she only used to do it to get money off me but now shes got a weekend job she thinks shes exempt!!!Sue your lads are very helpful in comparison, especially andrew!!
