I have an all in one- it really handy as it takes up less space but if your current printer is ok i'd just get a scanner- they dont cost that much

Hmmm Karen

I bought a scanner/printer in november. Its great. And not too big. But if your printer is good and u have the space for a scanner......

Gosh that's not much advise huh?

Soz, will creep back in my hide-out now.

I would go for the combo....

Yes my current printer is excellent its an old one from work when we changed over its a lexmark optra E310 it can do about 100 pages of print in about 2 minutes. It only prints in black but for colour I switch to the other one the Epson C80.

I think a scanner is really all I need (I just like spending money I suppose)

I don't have a scanner sadly only a printer, my son has a HP printer/scanner which is excellent. I looked at some scanners the other day and was amazed to find they cost as much as the P/S combined, didn't look if there were any second hand ones on amazon though

One thing to bare in mind is that one goes wrong you'll lose both untill the defective one gets fixed or have to replace both scanners are really cheap now days but to get a good printer you'll still have to pay a good price it all depends on what you want to do and what quality you want in your printing.

That will give you great picture quality it will even print on your cd's if you get the printable ones.

I have an Epson CX6400 and I can't fault it at all, it's a scanner/printer and has memory card slots for digital camera cards
