The list used to be far longer but over the past year we've worked hard and now it is:

Anyone carrying something large

Horses

Anyone walking behind us

Fire/bonfire (less now)

Kids on scooters

Anyone who looks 'strange'

Anyone using a rake or shovel or any type of 'strange' equipment!

Loud motorbikes

People on motorbikes wearing helmets

Anyone pushing anything very brightly coloured

Anyone holding or carrying an open umbrella

Jasper is scared of feathers! its the most funnyest thing to watch him prance around one on the floor, yet he still insists on chasing birds, im sure he'd have a heart attack if he finally caught one and realised thats where feathers come from!!!

Jennies' biggest fear is the baby in her walker, that child moves like greased lightening in it

Embarrassingly Vodou is terrified of wheelchairs... its not something that crossed my mind in the socialisation stage so im willing to accept that its entirely my fault for failing to expose him to them but I feel awful for people who have to see him react to them like that...luckily the first place we encountered this was at a training class, and it was his trainer so she was very understanding...

a lot of dogs are a little nervous of wheelchairs, they just don't see them very often. thankfully my 2 are fine in fact tiger often hitches a ride in my wheelchair & poppy wants to be right next to the wheelchair all the time. tiger is scared of sprays & people shouting or talking angrily which is at least useful in preventing my mum & stepdad arguing too often! poppy is scared of being shut in anywhere by herself, she seems to be claustrophobic

My Chinese Crested Powderpuff is terrified of going in the car. It started when'd I first collected her from the breeder. She's missing out on treats like walking with friends, holidays etc.

An old thread revived? My little min pin is scared of fireworks, thunder and very loud motorbikes. Aside from those things (which most of my dogs have hated) she gets spooked by some very odd things - she took an aversion to anyone carrying very large shopping bags a while back! But they seem to be passing phases.

Dougal is scared of our ceiling fan. I have no idea why. He is also scared of us standing on anything which means at Christmas he has to stay in another room while I put the decorations up....being short of stature I have to stand on things a lot to get things up high.

The funniest one was in the last while he gets very anxious if Brian is doing stuff round the house. Brian is 6ft 3, I told Brian it was cause he has spent so much time sitting down that him standing was new to Dougal and Dougal must be convinced he is standing on something
