I saw the trailer, but although I'm sure it was heartwarming having recently lost a friend I opted not to watch.

I didn't, I didn't have the heart.

In my career I watched too many people die and I don't think it is a subject for a TV programme

I didn't watch it, I saw the trailer and thought I think I'd rather not know it was my last summer tbh. I'd rather go suddenly and blissfully unaware of what was about to happen.

I watched it as it was not only about those people dying but how family and friends cope and how the person who will die would like them to deal with things while they are still living.
Having a sister on her 3rd lot of chemo and although she has not been told she has ex amount of time it is obviously very strongly in my thoughts. It was refreshing for me in as much as I know I am doing the right thing according to how these people were thinking and speaking. I think and from what Gill says I sort of thought I was.

Having already lived with both my Mum and Dad dying I know how I cope with such things and everyone copes differently. My Mums last summer was actually two full years and I wouldn't change a thing we did in all honesty.

I have also lived with two family members who died form cancer Gordens mum at 42 and my dad at 80 and I wouldn't do anything I did then differently either.
I found it a very sad programme but interesting as well maybe some consider that morbid but for me it was educational too.
I did wonder what drove these individuals to participate in something like this but whatever the reason I admire them.
