Well, I don't know him , have never met him and until last night had never watched a Bear Grylls program in my life.

I have to say, neither had Chris before he applied to go on the show ( nutter )

What I will say though is, that since the filming wrapped I've heard nothing but good things about him, the man, both from those that met him on the show and those that have worked with him previously.

Well having watched the first episode I am full of admiration for them all. These are not trained SAS or anything like, and what they did there was flipping hard.

Annie I am really enjoying the programme, it is interesting from the perspective of seeing how people cope when really put to the test.

I think Chris features more in it tonight doesn't he .

I saw him on Graham Norton show and I liked him. Seemed a good sport and a nice bloke.

Yes, I think he does, I think we finally get to see him and Fletch getting into a bit of a pickle on the cliffs after getting cut off by the tides

It's not the sort of thing I'd usually watch but you've peaked my interest and I've downloaded it to watch from the beginning.

Gosh Annie, Chris is brave hunting Caiman in the dark he certainly doesn't look his age.

I can't understand why they don't move camp to the other side of the island where there may be more food available.

My thoughts exactly! I keep thinking no wonder their nets are empty most of the time, they swim in the sea by their beach so it would have scared off most of the fish!

But I guess it's always easier to realise that from the comfy sofa at home.. I don't think I'd have lasted long, mainly because I'm a vegetarian and I would have refused to kill and eat animals lol
