The Wiccaweys Autumn Show & Collie Day Out - Sunday 10th September

The Wiccaweys Autumn Show will take place on Sunday 10th September.

The show will be held near the village of Welton, Northamptonshire, just off the A361, about 15mins from Wiccs HQ. Show will open at 10am and finish at around 4pm.

Flyball Display/Competition - Scallywags V Sherwood Outlaws/Sherwood Saplings

Fire Service Search & Rescue Display - FSSART - featuring Wiccaweys Dog, K9 Firefighter Bonnie

Agility Display

Heelwork to Music Display - performed by Gina Graham & Cassie

Herding Display (ducks?) to be confirmed

Northants DTC Demonstration Team - the team consist of up to 20 dogs of various breeds, including rescued dogs, collies, greyhounds..


Fun Agility/Jumping competition for Wiccaweys Agility Dogs

Pauline Barr has agreed to judge this for us. It is just a bit of fun, but with a trophy for the winner. Any Wiccaweys dog currently competing, or attending agility classes can have a go. For safety reasons, it will not be open to dogs who have never done agility before.

Activities for your dogs to try - open to all dogs attending the show

'Have A Go' Agility course for beginners - depending on trainers & club being available. (any dogs, not just Wiccaweys dogs)

'Have A Go' Flyball will be available. (any dogs, not just Wiccaweys dogs)

14) Best Wiccaweys Bitch (girls rehomed by Wiccaweys only)

All winners from each Class will come together for Best In Show


Stalls & Stands

The Wiccaweys Stall will be there, selling our wares.
We also hope to have other rescues from across the country and stalls attending, with lots of goodies - handmade collars & leads, posh beds etc, TT stand, Reiki, Clicker Training, Arden Grange Stand, Dog Lost, The Oldies Club, Rochdale Dog Rescue, Acupressure Massage for humans, Raffle, Refreshments/BBQ

With responsible and safe ownership something we wish to promote, Steve Tubb will be present with a display of purpose fitted caged vehicles. Microchipping should be available on the day, and an information stand promoting neutering.

If anyone here is involved in the KC Good Citizen scheme and would like to have a stand to promote that, please get in touch.

We will have a reporter from Our Dogs present.

Camping is available on the Saturday night for those travelling a distance.
If we have a few folks overnighting, we will have a bbq-shin-dig on Saturday evening.
