Favourite childhood toy

Was talking to a friend earlier about toyshops, which brought us round to the subject of what toys we had when we were younger.

I had 2 favourites. A silver cross pram identical to the one my mum had for me wee brother except his was blue and mine was brown, the old fashioned carriage style And the other was my Sindy dolls house, it was huge

So what toy do you remember as being a childhood favourite?

I had a Panda Teddy called amazingly enough Panda, my sister and cousin had a tug of war with him and pulled his head off, I can remember screaming when I picked him up from my bed and his head stayed there, my mum had to sew it back on. I still have him somewhere.

I remember having a big tin dolls house. It was painted and looked like a country cottage with roses by the door and painted shutters on the window and a roof which came off. I loved all the little bits of furniture and carpets - I played with it for hours and hours........

Polly Pocket -the original version, that is. So much love. Now you've made me think of them I'm looking at Google images and thinking 'Ooh I remember that one'
Oh and I had this thing called The Puppyville Hotel which I was quite obsessed with for a while. Ooh I'm all nostalgic now.

I had a huge Dusty Bin (anybody remember that?) filled with plastic farm animals and Matchbox cars. I also had a box full of original Lego from the 1970's and those were just about all I played with. I had Barbie's and Sindy's and various other toys but the animals, cars and Lego were my absolute faves.

Never could do that blasted 3,2,1 thing that Ted Rogers did lol.

And I forgot about lego, I had hundreds of it, that all got chucked out when I was a teen. When I think of the price of the stuff now.......

Sindy, I had a Sindy doll, and the horse...I loved that doll and horse (was horsey daft at the time).

And Lego, I used to try to build Star Trek Phasers from them (the old style).
