Morning, morning, morning - Friday!

Morning all,

Another year older..... ho hum

I had a brilliant day yesterday. Just Shirley and I in the office, but the woman is a complete superstar.

She did ALL the work and left me alone to catch up – which I did. What a trooper!

Another plus – Bunnie didn’t pee overnight

Friday – at last – seems like my holiday was years ago now, and I’ve only been back two weeks.... still, just 11 more weeks until another little break

I exercised once, but found I was allergic to it. My skin flushed and my heart raced. I got sweaty and short of breath. Very dangerous......

Does it happen to be your Birthday? If so I hope you have a lovely day. Good news on the Bunnie front, I hope it continues. The trouble with holidays is that once back to work they seem a distant memory!

Talking of holiday's our new lady has finally worked out my holiday allowance which is very short on the usual. I have worked more hours than I should so my hours are going to be reduced and her new calculations are based on my reduced hours rather than the actual figure. I have told her to go away and work it out again as I don't accept it.

We had a productive day yesterday at my cousins and attacked the front garden, four bags filled with garden waste for the collection service. Still loads to do though. I managed to buy his diabetic ice cream too which put a big smile on his face.

I don't usually see this time of the morning. I've found a trainer who specialises in nut jobs like Jake
we're off down to Marbella in a minute to have our first
training session with a reformed GSD who was once Jake's clone in behaviour......very nervous but trying not to influence pup.

well for those interested ...Flower the rescue SBTx maybe coming today afterall

I think I ruffled the feathers of the woman in charge due to me questioning the vaccinations ....whilst she has mange is on AB's and chemical washes & had kennel cough ...... I only asked personally I thought it odd as they vaccinated her not the vet.....it seemed to go down like a lead brick, but all I was thinking was with all the meds etc and the fact that she had kennel cough too...would the vaccinations be worthless and IMO risky.
Anyway it seemed that Flower was staying there under her care instead (after what I asked).......since she has found it all too much as she is in and out all day collecting new rescues and she also has been back and forth to the Doctors/hospital, so bathing Flower etc etc and seeing to all the others is taking its toll............so yesterday their foster co-ordinator rang me asking if I would except her apologies, made some glossed over excuses for the woman in charge (how she tries to do it all herself etc etc) ............ so I said yes as it all seems a real sham TBH just because of Flower really. so fingers crossed she should touch base today.............well thats the plan so we'll see how that goes

will keep you posted anyway
Perhaps I shouldn't question those 'that know best' note to oneself....keep gob shut

We had a nice walk with Dillon somewhere different yesterday but today back to the field. Just the usual boring stuff today and Gorden checking emails to see if the visas are done yet and any news of flights.

Happy Birthday Vicki Good luck with the sorting of the hours there Gerry, stick to your guns! I hope you get a result with Flower then Steph, but sounds like you shouldn't hold yer breath then!

Certainly autumnal down here this morning, but at least we're in for yet another sunny day. I can't remember the last time it rained here, everything is so dry I had to water the garden yesterday out the front.

Dave will be walking Zena on his own this morning, coz I've opted for staying home waiting for a B&Q delivery. That will give me lots more walking power for when I go down the town when he gets back. I did all my little diy jobs yesterday, all those niggly little finishing off bits, so today Im on strike, I'm off to hit the shops for a bit of retail I want one of those hair crown volumisers I've discovered on Google, which should rectify my rubbish haircut where she has cut the top too short at the back, so it doesn't stack right. Jeesus Christ, I really have to find somebody who can actually cut hair properly in this town, before I end up buying a pair of special scissors and doing it meself!

Nothing else to report, Dave will be busy doing electrics today if he can get up in the loft if it doesn't get too hot, otherwise, by the time I get back, he might have cooked up there He shouldn't be up there on his own really, but he won't listen, it's such a tight old squeaze coz we have loads of those trusses over there and he's not exactly small, but hey ho.

Me, work today, then get petrol after work, home and *theatrical sigh* Relax!

I am so looking forward to my long lie in tomorrow, my throat is sore, my ear is sore and I suspect I'm catching a cold that is doing the rounds in school So really looking forward to a long lie tomorrow morning.

That's as far as I have got with my plans so far.

Lily jumping on the bus in the mornings to get fuss off the bus drivers paid off this morning as I was given a free newspaper by one . That firly does have her uses after all.
Off to do mums shopping this morning then over to do her housework, before coming home and looking out a photo of Charly when she was little as I want it imprinted on her 21st Birthday cake, before I go off to work.
Only 5 more weeks to work and then 2 weeks off. Can't wait.
