I couldn't justify spending a fortune on a bag or shoes but can spend a fortune on showing the dogs. I don't do handbags and my favourite shoes which I have worn to death are irreplaceable, but didn't cost much.

Probably house furnishings... I just ordered an armchair, it cost a grand, but it's classic, leather, reduced by 300 already, and i will have it years (and my dogs don't get left in that room alone ).

I'm really not into bags and shoes, but did need a posh bag for work recently, I got one from TK Maxx, RRP 110 pound, i paid 40 and it's gorgeous!

I will spend a fortune on Ariat Boots (although always try to get the ones I want as cheaply as I can) and tack for the horses and dogs, but scoff at paying £10 for a pair of jeans for me

Recon the Ariat walking/riding boot is the best piece of "Does what it says it does" kit I've bought.

It gets v. cold here in the winter so about 3 years ago I bought a pair of Uggs.........that was a definite 'how much' moment. Worth it though and they're still going strong.
