Does anyone own a hybrid?

Does anyone own a hybrid car? What are they like on fuel efficiency are they worth they extra money?

New Diesel engined ,start stop tech would be my way to go if fuel cost was an issue ...

I have one of those at the moment

Need to upgrade size wise though and was looking at some of the hybrid type s, do you think a diesel would be more cost effective in a bigger car?

The only bigger hybrids i like the look of are the Lexus...you talking 4x4 or Prius(sp) type

I wonder if they really do save money fuel wise?

Hmmmm I used to have an X3, sold it to my FIL when I got my current car. I def don't want an X5 or a Range Rover or the like.

what about a qashqai or something? hubby has one as a work car and its pretty decent space wise.. his previous car was a hyundai and i have never known a car to need fuel so Infrequently - it was amazing on fuel...

What's the boot space like? I need to fit 3 dogs and a buggy........

Been looking at the XTrail which seems quite big? Oooh haven't thought of Hyundai! Ta!

If i had the cash for a rx450 i would be buying a Range rover sport ..lol The Evoke seems to be the the new 4x4 of choice around here ,lots of yummy mummys taking kids to school in them...
