we have been thinking about this too and have decided to get a dog this time. It is supposed to be the best combination.

hmm dont kno, my preference is to get a dog next time, but i wud probably be jus as happy with another girl. I think it wud be abigger issue possibly if it were 2 boys, but i think if u have fallen for a boy then theres no reason not to. u can have the best of both worlds

I've normally had bitches, but to be honest now, I'd prefer males. They're so much more loving and not as fiesty IMO

Hi abbymum, I have a dog and a bitch and find it makes a great combination Alot of people prefer 1 or the other but imo its nice for them to have a mate. (not mean't in breeding terms)

I`ve got four bitch`s and one dog and I think the dog is more brazen than the girls! If Abby will be ok for another puppy to come in to her home than I think its up to you, but I love the girls, the dogs are my parents but I want to get my own so I might keep two of Lilys pups.

I could never get two dogs as I dont have the space to keep them separate all the time all dogs that come into this house will be pets and like Abby have run of the house I dont want to worry about making sure that doors havent been left open by the kids.
