Getting A New Kitchen

Our Housing Association landlords have decided we need a new kitchen. So today the designers have been out letting us choose the work surfaces and cupboards colours, floor covering and paint for the walls.
Our kitchens are very tiny and badly designed so not much room for many units, but it will be nice to have it at least looking half decent.
I have chosen Oak colour units and cupboards with work suface in this sort of colour

Flooring is very similar just a shade or so lighter. Then very pale hint of green walls like the Apple white on the chart.

Then some white non shiny tiles.
Work should start in a few weeks they said and take approx 2 weeks to complete as they are going to wire in a couple of extra sockets too.
Now all I have to do is persuade my housing association that my rotten drafty windows need replacing. The wood has rotted both inside and outside and all they keep doing is putting on draft excluder, which does not solve the problem at all.
