Massacre in my garden

Not sure which catagory to put this in, so please move if nec.

I've just had my morning walk around my garden, no it's not that big

God knows what has been happening but I have found a dead Green Finch, a dead Pidgeon and a pile of black feathers
They had both been attacked although I didn't really examine them.
There is a cat at the top of the road but I have never had this before. 3 dead birds since I was last out there at 8 last night.
The garden is also very quiet today as if the birds know something has happened.

Sounds like the cats had a good night then, more than you can say for the birds !
