Moon Cups

Not sure if this is the right section for this post ,but as it seems to be mostly females here i,ll take a chance.

Moon cups were mentioned on a tv programme last night as an eco friendly alternative to tampons and towels,i have just looked on a website about them and it says they last for years ,are easy to use ,and obviously money saving.

Any one here any experience with them, would you recommend them.
Sorry to any guys who might drop in here

I have one but never used it as my periods are so light as to be non-existant but I know of many people who swear by them. I can put you in touch with them if you are interested?

hello
err - recently got one and after a few teething problems - finding it so much easier and cleaner feeling than towels or tampons

havent got on with tampons since birth of my son and the mooncup works for me.

definetly worth trying it out - does take a wee bit getting used to at first but is much nicer than using towels etc

I've never heard of them.

I've had a hysterectomy so don't need anything like that, but, I have three daughters so it might be worth them looking into it.

I have heard good things about mooncups but not tried them. Downside was having to clean them .

The idea of those does not appeal to me at all.
