Mine never wear collars unless they are on onlead walks, at training or at shows.

Tags are not allowed on collars during agility so they don't have them on their collars.

I have heard of too many accidents involving collars to risk my dogs wearing them when they aren't with me.

To me the risk of them hurting themselves whilst wearing collars far outweighs the risk of them straying.
