Natural Pesticide for Vegetable garden

Hello.

My poor lettuce has been ransacked by some nasty bugs, fly and caterpillars by the looks of things,

Any ideas what i can spray them with to keep the bugs off - they are outdoor not in greenhouse and up on a planter so no danger to Bruno but would like to keep it natural if possible.

thanks
dani

You can make a little frame around them using canes and drape netting (net curtain etc) over it - just make sure it isn't touching any of the actual plants....

I'd go with Shelley's suggestion, we used a spray suggested for veggies on some herbs and it made anything we cooked using said herbs very bitter.

get a spray bottle (one of the plant ones they probably have a proper name) and fill it with water, with a small amount of washing up liquid in it. Squirt away
