Akitas on the Isle of Skye

Just got back from our annual holiday with the dogs in Scotland, we stayed on the Kyle of Lochalsh but spent most the week on the Isle of Skye. I'm so grumpy, miserable and depressed having returned home, it is so perfect up there!

Well my two big bundles of fun were perfectly behaved on holiday We had a lovely time, the dogs travelled, ate, walked and slept (Zeke on the end of our bed, keisha in the luggage hold-all on the floor) like troopers. We were out and about all week, despite the changeable weather!

Of course, some pics, I took so many!

Glen Brittle Forest, Isle of Skye

Agility practise

Coral beaches, Isle of Skye

Point of sleat, Isle of Skye

Yey, boat trip from Portree harbour to see the Sea Eagles!!

The [snowy] Falls of Glomach walk

Our local Broch near Loch Duich

LOVE muddy dogs!

Dogs tied to rucksack, both hands in pockets, seemples!

Being back is so depressing isn't it

You MUST go to Skye, it's very dog friendly!! We visited every corner and would go back for more!! The boat people were great about 2 big lumps of dogs on board there was even another collie on board too, only about 7 people, a great trip..

I didn't get any pics of the sea eagles, they never left the nest on the cliff side! There was a dead sheep nearby so i think they'd been feeding on that and weren't bothered about the fish we threw

We are in love with Mull and go at least once a year....that is one of the reasons we haven't been to Skye yet and all the sheep people keep mentioning..........

Your trip looks fab though, love the pics and I am sorry you didn't get a better view of the eagles xxxx

It is depressing being back.
