Abused baby Boobies become Abusive Adults

"Chicks that are bitten and pecked by neighboring birds grow up to be abusers themselves. The study provides some of the first evidence that this “cycle of violence” exists in wild animals.

A newly published paper finds that baby birds that are abused by adults grow up to become abusers themselves.

Something to think about in the training of our pups. Especially when combined with Herron's (2009) study on aggressive training than elicit aggressive behavior and Bradshaw's (2009) paper on the outdated and dangerous practice of dominance training.
