This idea seems to have gone down well with people above.

I must be unusual because I originally did put my DoB on the form when I registered and did get a Birthday greeting from someone who isn't around now, actually I got two both from the same person so it only took me a microsecond to work out it was automated. That kind of didn't seem right to me so I quickly removed my DoB from my profile.

If people are aware that it's automated that's fine but I have seen some people post replies and thanks and I sensed that they didn't know and that doesn't seem right to me. Just my thoughts and those that want to have their name 'in the system' are entitled to do so.
