Late season

My 2 y/o SBT was due her 2nd season in November/December, but there are still no signs, it's now been nearly 10 months since her last season.

She was a bit of a late bloomer and didn't have her first season until she was around 13/14 months ish (she was a rescue so I don't know exactly how old she is - she was about 18 weeks when I took her on).

She's fine in herself, is this something to worry about?

I''ve no intention of breeding, in fact I'm wanting to spay her and was waiting on her season to know when to book her in.

Could she have had a silent season? In which case how does that leave me spaying wise?
Any advice?

Thanks x

Oh well, not sure if there really is an answer to this other than wait and see.

I spotted a few spots of brownish discharge on her tail so called the vets who said she's probably beginning her season and so long as she's well in herself to 'keep a close eye'.

Not daft at all. She will come in season when she is ready and nothing we can do will change it.
