James & Ziggy - how I love them so!

Because James will be with us now for 2 months on saturday, I thought it was about time some proper pictures got posted. I can't believe he's only been with us for that long, couldn't imagine my life anymore without his quirks and everlasting enthusiasm
He's changed so much if we look back now, even though at the moment itself it might feel like an eternal struggle...

Sir James - his natural pose

Very sleepy after beachwalk

Ziggy the poser

Snoozefest!

Gentle leader rabbit-catching pose

The best time of day - beachtime!

Scoring nom noms with my cousins Snoopy & Odi

Oh no he's not anything like a toller (I love them though so there might be one in a few more years) although a lot of people confuse him with one or an Irish Setter. He's not a border terrier either, a terrier would actually have an easier to train personality

We think James is most likely a mix between a podenco canario, a viszla, a setter and an english spaniel (or any two of the four, but there's definitely spaniel + some form of podenco). We're not sure until we get some DNA tests done though because he was originally just picked up from the streets of Spain as a puppy.

Ziggy is a mix between a Lhasa Apso and a Rotweiler I call him my mini-rottie

Gosh that was a brave Lhasa! I take it he was the Dad?
I would never have guessed that mix! He looks quite like a Border to me!
