24 Nov KC Breeding Symposium Enfield £32.50
The Kennel Club, with the support of the Pet Food Manufacturer’s Association, is inviting dog breeders and enthusiasts to a stimulating day of talks and discussions on health issues and how advances in science could benefit you and your dogs. The Symposium will be held on Saturday 24th November at the Royal Veterinary College in North Mymms, Hertfordshire.
Among the experts who will be speaking at the event are Dr Cathryn Mellersh of the Animal Health Trust, on ‘how to spot’ a good DNA test; Professor Jeff Sampson, Kennel Club Genetics Consultant, on breeding for better health; Dr Angelika von Heimendahl, Veterinary Reproduction Service, on guidance on how to avoid a caesarean section; and Dr Lorna Kennedy, Senior Scientist, University of Manchester, on autoimmune conditions.
Open to all with an interest in dogs and breeding, tickets for the all-day event cost £32.50 per person and include morning refreshments, a buffet lunch and a delegate pack. For further information or a booking form, please visit
