No Christmas Dinner

My son rang yesterday to say they had got half way through cooking thier christmas dinner and got a power cut. Apparently a fuse had blown at a power station somewhere.
The electric never came back on till 8.30 last night so their christmas dinner was ruined and had to be chucked.
I know it is one of those things that can't be helped but what a day for it to decide to blow, it really spoilt thier christmas.
