Squatting and nothing ? (Cystitis? UTI?)

Can you tell me if dogs get a problem with there water works
Kiera seems to squat a lot but nothing comes out. If you know what I mean.
Any ideas please as tp the cause and remedy Thanks

Possibly coming in season (not sure of her age) or more likely a urine infection, possibly cystitis, they feel as if they need to go, but cant.

Could definitely be a urine infection. If you can think of no other reason why she's doing this, take a sample to the vet and get it tested. She may need ab's.

Cystitis sounds quite possible, a week before my Jasmine had her first season she was like this, we took her to the vet who gave her an anti-inflammatory injection......the relief on her face when she finally went was amazing, she also had a 7 day course of tablets. She was back to normal next day.
