THe great kangaroo debaucle

Remember me telling you about Maynard, my boss' pet Kangaroo that I care for (along with a golden retriever) when my boss is out of town.

Well, the kangaroo is officially out of the bag after this spectacle yesterday.

Today was a media circus at work. Reporters and cameras everywhere!

You all know how I feel about keeping wild animals as pets. I just hope it ends well for the Roo.

Our local paper was the most ruthless in their reporting, working hard to get to the bottom of just who owned Maynard and where exactly he lived, etc.

Is maynard ok now, I know I shouldnt laugh but the local paper cracked me up.

He's fine. He wasn't hurt. But he still needs a placement in a more suitable environment, which is problematic since he's been neutered and can't live with normal adult Kangaroos.

Poor thing, is that why the vet ended up keeping him hes a long way from home.
Still laughing I have visions of you trying to walk him on a lead sorry.
Seriously really glad he;s ok, he looks like a lovely fella.xx
