oh Steph, poor FS.

I hope they can sort him out. Still, knowing FS, once he's over the pain, at least he will have a story to tell!

Well done for being able to face dealing with the wound - as you say, most people wouldn't have been able to.

Off now to go and see what's happened to Skye

Thank you everyone.......Update on FS..

We had a almost 12 hour stint at the hospital, he underwent an operation under GA, went down at 11 and came back at 12.30. So not bad.

They have cut away the dead skin along the edge of the wound, and cut the wound straight so the they could pull the skin too and stitch it up, all cleaned out and dressed, plus they added painkiller into the wound so that he should have a comfy night, we got home around 7 and he's in bed now so hopefully he will sleep soundly. We have to go back to The Childrens Hospital on Friday for them to check and re-dress, he will have a scar but nothing can be done about that, and Im sure in time he will be bragging about it

Skye's appt couldn't be kept so I have rang and made her one for Wednesday, hopefully FS will be able to walk alot better by then, so he can have a walk there with me as he will be off school for a while

Thanks for up-dating. I've been wondering about him all day.

So glad they've managed to stitch it up without the need for skin grafts and that he should be able to get some pain-free sleep tonight. It must be a worry off all your minds.

Still sending those positive vibes for quick healing.

I have a feeling you will be needing some much needed sleep tonight too

Morning Steph

Hope you and FS had a better night. Hopefully he's not in too much pain, and you caught up on your rest.

Waiting round in those places can cause your body stress levels to rise.

Glad that they sorted him out promptly, and hopefully Skye goes on okay at the vet tomorrow.
