Good to hear you have your beloved dog back home with you now - I hope she goes from strength to strength and that all results are good ones.

Molly keeps trying lie on top of Roxy, snuggled in together, as they usually do most nights but she doesn't understand that she can't just now.

So sorry I missed the latest updates on darling Roxy - just too pre-occupied.

Please give Roxy very gentle huggles from me and tell her we have everything crossed for a perfect outcome.

Thanks everyone.

Her dressing is starting to come off now (just as they said it would) and, from what I can see, it's looking good!

As we're doing shifts, we haven't had to use the head cone once. She's not even bothered by her wound at the moment! No doubt that will change when it starts to heal and get tight and itchy, then we may have to use the cone!

Took the dressing off tonight. The wound now looks like this....

And Roxy's face now looks like this..... Poor wee soul. She doesn't understand.

Oh heck, that 'wound' looks bad, but probably looks worse in the photo than in reality. Don't know much about medical stuff but it does look dry and clean and I guess that's the important thing. I agree with you that in the second photo she's looking bemused, like 'what happened to my leg, I don't remember getting into any fights'

But still much in admiration of the two of you doing the shifts, and as you say she's not had to use the lampshade yet.

With your TLC I'm sure she'll be bouncing around very soon, once again I say "Well done"
