Lovely dog friendly beach (stoney) near Eype Mouth Hotel in Bridport, Dorset. Accomodation (cant spell) close by. Love this area. Used to come here on hols and then moved here. Very dog friendly. Not a crowded beach either, dogs allowed al year round.

Greenwich, London:

The Plume of Feathers, Park Vista. They have their own labrador and love dogs in there.

And the Cutty Sark Tavern, Ballast Quay, right on the river.

I find more of the country pubs seem to be more relaxed about allowing dogs, when I go back home to Locghilphead the dogs can come everywhere with us. Up here there is one pub nearby which allows dogs in the beer garden but it gets a bit rowdy and I wouldnt take them there

yep that's true about country pubs... especially as most pubs in London are now owned by big companies, who are scared of getting sued because of the 'health risks' of allowing a dog to be somewhere where food is served lol.

I find that the smaller, 'family owned' (if there is such a thing anymore) pubs are on the qhole quite happy to have dogs... and as these pubs are the quieter, friendlier type I prefer them anyway

We recently visited the Inn Off The Green (The Tilbury) in Datchworth in Hertfordshire - they didn't allow dogs in the eating area but you could eat in the bar areas and dogs were MORE than welcome here. In fact there was another dog there and the staff were really friendly.

Hey Tuti,

Which one of these that you listed would you consider the best? I've got to meet up with a friend in London and I'm making her go to a dog friendly pub so I can bring Fern So I better make sure it's a nice pub to keep her happy - your thoughts?

The Fox & Hounds, Ennerdale Bridge, Cumbria, Zest Harbourside, Whitehaven, Cumbria - both allow dogs in and even have water bowls for them!
