Dexter – 20 week old male Akita Cross(what do you think the cross is )

Dexter is a 20 week old Akita cross pup. He is currently in a lovely foster home living with a male and female Akita who he gets on great with. He loves to play with toys and will share them with his furry housemates with no issues. Dexter is housetrained and has got the hang of going to the door to tell you when he needs to go out. He does still have the odd accident when he gets too excited but this is to be expected from such a youngster. He is very food motivated so training isn’t hard, he will do anything for a treat and a fuss and learns quickly.
Having met the neighbours cat on a few occasions, Dexter isn’t keen and will chase so we cannot place Dexter in a home with cats. At the moment Dexter is showing signs of separation anxiety and he does not like to be left alone. His foster family are working hard to resolve this and are making steady progress, his new family need to be aware of and committed to helping him with this issue with time and love.

St Bernard?

I know what you mean , but what are the odds of a st B .lol

Funny i thought St Bernard, and then a big staff or a lab! But I dont know much!

I've met the same cross before. Quite an intimidating dog even though he was still young, and I never saw him again after that one time even though they were local to me. Have to wonder at the wisdom behind such a mix.

I would have said St Bernard too looking at his face
