I like it but don't get to see every episode. What happened to Heather , I watched the episode where she was already dead but don't know what happened to her, I presume it was phils son that killed her or was it the other lad, sorry can't think of the names.

For some reason he reminds me of Mr Toad from Wind in the Willows.....

Ben and Jay went to her flat but it was Ben thinking it was 'Hev' that had told the police he had lied about Stella that made him flip and he bashed her across the head with the best mates photo 'Shirl' gave 'Hev'. Just before they turned up Hev was leaving a message for Shirl and she thought it was Andrew knocking on the door so she left the phone connected so it has all been recorded but Shirl only listened up until Hev said something like Andrew's here. Phil listened and deleted the message while Shirl was distracted.

Oh thanks majuka, thought it was probably Ben but jay was acting so suspicious I thought it might have been him. Jay looked really different in this episode, was wondering if it was the same actor.

I'll second that, I cant stand Derek!

I always watch Eastenders, along with Corrie. Never bothered with Emmerdale though.

I used to watch Easties all the time but have gotten a bit sick of it lately, it used to be there was a laugh in amongst all the doom and gloom, but it's just ridiculous now.
If you lived in that square you'd piggin' well move house !...wonder what the life expectancy is ?, no doubt the reason Pat wore those earrings was to deflect the evil juju that inhabits A S.

I think I heard somewhere that the producer has left. Rating have dropped so I hope the new one brings in more realistic storylines and some less miserable ones.

It really went off the rails with the baby snatch/swap story and has gone downhill from there

Oh, you call it Easties? It's always been 'Stenders in my family!
....as in "STENDERS IS STARTING!" etc. etc.

hahahaha!

In a peculiar way I kind of like Derek.... it's almost like the Square needed someone like him. We've all known a Derek, I am sure - creepy, obsequious, sly but also very polite and gentlemanly in a way that turns your stomach. He reminds me of kids I was at school with... the bullying sort that used to fart a lot at the back of the classroom and give you chinese burns when no-one was looking.

I think that's why I also like Bianca - the same kind of horrified fascination (and I love to see what she's wearing badly!).
