Weight Loss

Good morning everyone !

just wondering if anyone has any good weight losing tips, my mum was also told to lose alot of weight by doctors but she cant be active as she has a bad leg which prevents her from doing active stuff - any tips would be great as i wanna help her thanks peeps x

Cut the junk out, including ready meals.

Make meals from scratch keeping beef, lamb and pork to a minimul, preferably eating more chicken and fish. Make the most of salads and fresh/frozen veg as these are low in calories and fat.

Try and change milk to either skimmed or semi-skimmed and use a margarine spread that low in saturated fat rather than butter.

Basically eating healthier and in moderation helps lose weight. Plenty of water too.

All what Wolfie said, plus try to cut down on the refined carbs a bit...trying to use brown bread instead of white. If you like potatoes have new instead of mashed or whatever.. aparantly they have far less carbs in than old potatoes

I have lost 2 stone since June, and it hasn't been hard work either - honestly.

I used to drink gallons of fruit juice ( tetrabrik ) cut it all out and only drink water and 3 cups of tea a day. Low cal sugar and semi-skimmed milk.

Cut out potatoes and bread, eat loads of fresh veg and fruit. Chicken and fish.

Weight watchers have helped me and if I feel the need to snack I buy their low calorie/fat bars!!

Oh has lost loads of weight on this too! Good luck x

I am sure I would lose weight if I cut out bread! I live on crappy sandwiches!
