Kismet's first day at agility

Well. We joined an agility group and have just got back from our first session!

It was great fun!...

We started with the weaves, which Kismet thought was pointless, but loved bouncing on the trainer and giving her loves and kisses at the end of the run... Trainer was holding her treat... Kismet ignored the cheese every time and just went for the snogs and cuddles! We'll work on it

Then we had a go at the A frame... She's a natural! My special girl Nice and steady up and perfect down then over to the trainer for hugs n cuddles and a bit of cheese What a little star...

Only a couple of things we will have to work on... She cried and whoowhaaed and howled when it was everyone else's turn and wanted to jump on and play with all the other dogs in the class so was a horrid distraction when it was their go... Some times she was good and would settle and watch, but she'd get bored and then want to have a go herself...

Can't wait till next week, we're going to try jumps and the tunnel... I may have to let go of the lead... Chaos will ensue!

No pictures this week, I was too busy, but I'll try to get someone to take some next week for me

Didn't seem like a lot of exercise, but Kismet is crashed! She got in had a long drink (though we had plenty of water there) and has just crashed on her side in the middle of the room feet twitching dream running her way round the course

Sounds as though you are going to really enjoy it

I started agility with Yogi last week and we loved it too. It is our next session tomorrow night.

the weaves take a long time then when they figure it out they love it, ben is now at the stage he is so excited he charges into them too fast to do them properly and barks his way all along them
