Hayfever! Absolutely ruins summer dog walking for me as no matter what precautions I take, I always come back with eyes and nose streaming. Then I'm rubbish for the rest of the day too!

Other than that, summer dog walkers. They don't come out any time except summer and then they bring their whole family with them for a little jaunt and their unruly dog who is going mental because he is so excited to finally get to leave the garden and doesn't recall because they're never trained him

Idiot drivers who think it's okay to take a really windy road at 30mph and then glare at you when you have the temerity to be there walking your dog on a known walking route.

All those blaeberries on the route...takes me twice as long cause I'm constantly picking them during the blaeberry season....

Dog poo in the middle of the green where you least expect it to be...

All those ruddy bugs! Midges, gnats, flies! ARGH!!

Tip, when you have crossed the laces for the last time, cross them UNDERNEATH the top eyelets/hooks and THEN tie them!

Numpties and arriving at what should be a pleasant walk to find the scene of broken glass and destruction that louts who's only purpose in life is to get out their skulls with no regard for others have left behind

Out of control dogs.

Small over friendly dogs who are just desperate to be eaten by a Huskamute. Poor Kismet is wary of small dogs having been attacked and spins and twirls to keep an eye on a little over friendly dog bouncing and yapping at her, but there is only so far her patience will be pushed before she will throw them down and pin them, even though she is muzzled, I'm sure being squished won't be any fun for the little dog, so we end up doing a drag and juggle while careless owners either laugh or accuse me of having a dangerous and uncontrollable dog!

Boys with sticks... Not all kids, not all boys, but boys with large pieces of wood smashing and hitting at anything and everything in their path. Terrifies the dogs and I cant say I like it much either

Dirt trail bikers and quad bikers

cats.

Backseat dog walkers and amateur trainers. "what you need is a good choke-chain on that dog". "If my dog had to be muzzled like that, I'd have them put to sleep". "Have you tried taking her to socialisation classes, my friend's aunt's brother takes his dog to them and it has done him the world of good".

People

Poo

Picnics with people who are dog phobic or scream if a dog so much as sniffs in their general direction.

Teenage girls who want to pet Kismet, but then scream if she sniffs at their hands waving their arms above their heads, then shriek when she jumps up to see what the fuss is about, or barks at them for being so silly.

The huge piles of empty plastic water bottles around the football goals at our usual walk.

People who throw food scraps into hedgerows.

People taking small prey animals on walks (I have seen rabbits and ferrets on our main dog walking field around here)

People who scream at you to pick up your dogs mess, when they're just having a wee, or who go crazy at dogs weeing against their garden wall or hedge.

People who think as the owner of a dog that all dog mess belongs to you.

Its a wonder we have nice dog walks at all really ...
