Becoming a Professional Dog Trainer

So I am in my 4th year of college and am going to finish soon. I have grown up and trained my own dogs from my house (I grew up out in the country and we had 5 different dogs)

Now that I'm about to finish school I am seriously thinking about becoming a professional trainer and starting my own business. So far I have found some pretty good resources online, but I was wondering if anyone here had any advice for a newbie like me starting out.

I feel like if I can turn my love for dogs into my career I'd be really happy with that. It sure beats sitting in a office!

Thanks Everyone!!!

I would seriously consider the KCAI scheme which helps you identify any gaps in your skills, knowledge, ability, training and experience.

ETA just noticed you are in the US, have you looked at the APDT?
