Ultimate Recall Course Andover August 2012

ULTIMATE RECALL COURSE:

• Training a reliable, automatic, non-negotiable, reality recall
• Building block and foundation training of the recall
• Relationship/influence building in recall training
• The chasing/emergency recall
• Sit and/or down on recall
• Freeze/stop on recall/running wait
• Distance/direction control
• Calling dogs off of distractions
• Out of sight recall (owner hidden)
• Obedience/competition recall (dog is called from a stationary position)
• Free running recall (dog is called while in motion)
• Type "A" recall (dog re-joins his owner in motion)

JOHN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJUST COURSE CONTENT BASED ON THE ABILITIES OF DOGS AND HANDLERS ENROLLED ON THE COURSE.

Ok, so now you've tempted me. This one is like only just over an hour away from me. I am very tempted. It can only be a good thing to train a strong recall, say if he ever snapped his lead or something.

I'll email them and ask, but would this course be suitable for a dog with Cain's issues? Or better I just go as a spectator?

OOH thanks SMOKEY BEAR!

Am just looking into whether Dex and I could get there, as no car at present - if we can possibly get there I will be booking us a place!!!!

I have just emailed to ask how many dogs will be on the course - if it's a lot then I suspect it would be overwhelming for Dex, judging on how he's been at various dog training classes.

If it's not too many then I will be working out our route to Andover!!!
